US Cities and States that Offer Cash Incentives to Move There!
Now that remote work has become part of our social fabric, being tied to a city or State for purely reasons of work are only a concern for some. as a result of this phenomenon, many people are free to move about the globe as they wish, so wouldn't it be cool if there were places that offered incentives for people to move there? Well, there are such places, and the "remote work" aspect is not even a requirement! One such place is West Virginia (pictured above) where you can which offers a $20,000 initiative made possible from the program known as Ascend West Virginia. The breakdown of payments is pretty simple for those who simply elect to re-locate to the Mountain State under the auspices of this program. An initial cash payment of $10,000 over the first year, and then an additional $2,000 over the second year...just for moving there! The balance of $8,000 bucks is given in the form of credits to be used for free outdoor recreation like white-water rafting, skiing, along with gear rental to boot! Participants in the program also get FREE co-working space and free professional development and entrepreneurial assistance if wanted. Then there's Vermont, which offers potential grants potentially worth up to $7,500 bucks under either the Relocating Worker Grant for new residents filling a vacancy with Vermont employer, or there's a New Remote Worker Grant, offered to people who move into Vermont but work remotely for an out of state employer. These programs aren't for everyone, but for young people not tied to an office and seeking a change of scenery, and the potential to use programs like this to help acquire down payment funds to buy a home, they could be worth further investigation! Here at PropertyGuerilla.com we applaud initiatives like this and encourage anyone who may benefit to take a closer look...you just never know! #realestate #movingincentives #westvirginia #vermont #relocatingworkergrant #remoteworkergrant #movingmoney #buyingrealestate #sellingrealestate #realtor #propertyguerilla
