Today's Main Event: Millennials vs Gen Z Home Buying

Let's be realistic for a moment regarding home buying in this current market.   With the exception of a select few, literally EVERYONE is having a tougher time buying homes than they were over the past several years.  Of course, there are different reasons for each group defined nowadays by the era in which they were born, nevertheless problems have arisen for just about everyone.  The attached article focuses on the plights of the Gen Z crowd (Birth Date Range 1997-2012) and the Millennials (Birth Date Range 1981-1996), and which of these is experiencing greater difficulty buying a home.  Of course, the age gap will favor the Millennials, but the real issue for the Gen Z people is that the current economy, skyrocketing rental rates, higher interest rates, all coupled with higher home prices could potentially delay their plans of ownership for years!  There's also a fear that the trend in declining home ownership could take hold with Gen Z as a result, especially considering that the "deal" over the next few years will likely be "fixer-uppers" and not in more dense urban areas but instead in the suburbs and perhaps even the exurbs.  It's more important now more than ever for Buyers, especially younger and often first-time Buyers to consult with real estate industry professionals like Realtors, Agents, Mortgage Brokers, and the like to learn the ins and outs of a market that becomes more complex by the day.   All of these issues tie into the ever- present difficulty of finding a home or property as inventory has suffered dramatically as well.  That's where we come in...PropertyGuerilla.com was designed to create a Buying and Renting "hot line" to allow for direct communication based NOT on what is formally listed for Sale or Rent, but based upon a potential Buyer or Tenant need, leaving room for direct and discrete responses from anyone with a property worthy of discussion as a possible solution!  The definition of insanity was once written as "Doing the same thing every day but expecting different results".  We're not saying Stop searching for your home or apartment, just change the way you do it.  #realestate #buyingrealestate #sellingrealestate #genz #millennial #realtor #agent #mortgagebroker #propertyguerilla
